Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Rename an Office Master Version of a Family

As a member of the office master access group, rename a published office master version of a family to help you distinguish between versions and easily track changes and updates.

To rename an office master version of a family from the element library:

  1. Open the element library.
  2. In the element library, select an assembly or division to view its families.
  3. From the assembly's/division's families, select a family.
  4. In the Family Details pane, click .
    Note: You can rename only office master versions, and not the MasterSpec version.
  5. In the Section field that corresponds to your selected version in the Rename Office Masters dialog box, enter the new unique version name.
  6. Click Confirm.
