Remove an Assembly

As an administrator or author, remove an assembly element from an active project to remove its specified performance requirements as well as its added child assemblies, families, and product types.

When you remove an assembly, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related project elements.

For more information, see Removal of Project Elements.

To remove an assembly from the active project:

  1. Open a project in the project workspace.
  2. In the project workspace, in the Categories pane, select a project category.
  3. In the Project Elements pane, filter the list of UniFormat elements to use UniFormat for your project.
You can also search for an assembly.
  4. Select an added assembly.
An added assembly displays in green.
  5. In the element header, click Remove from Project.
    Warning: This action is irreversible.
  6. Click Ok to confirm.
In the Project Elements pane, the assembly displays in dark blue or gray to indicate its removed and currently selected state. For assembly groups, the assembly's performance requirements are no longer available for modification on the element form.
