Publish Office Master Families

As a member of the office master access group, publish one or multiple imported or modified office master families and all of their versions with existing work items to add these families to the element library.

Publishing enables you to use these families as baseline content in your firm's projects.

When you publish office master content, multiple rules and automated changes apply. For more information, see Office Master Rules and Mechanics.

To publish imported or modified office master families:

  1. Open the office master dashboard.
  2. On the office master dashboard, select one or multiple office master families that you want to publish:
    • To select a family, select its corresponding checkbox in the Select column.
    • To select all families, select the checkbox in the Select column header.
    Note: You can search for or filter families.
  3. Click Publish All.
    After publishing, the dashboard no longer displays the selected families.
    Note: Publishing a given family will also automatically publish its available versions that have existing work items on the dashboard.
