Publish an Office Master Family

As a member of the office master access group, publish one or all office master versions with existing work items of a family to add them to the element library and use these versions as baseline content in your firm's projects.

When you publish office master content, multiple rules and automated changes apply. For more information, see Office Master Rules and Mechanics.

To publish an office master version of a family:

  1. Open the office master dashboard.
  2. On the office master dashboard, find the imported or modified family that you want to publish.
    Note: You can search for or filter families.
  3. Publish the one or all versions of the family:
    • Publish All Versions: Click > Publish in the row of the family.
    • Publish One Version: Click the family to show its versions and click > Publish in the row of the version.
    After publishing, the dashboard no longer displays the family or the version.
