Project Parameters
These parameters are characteristics of a project which describe, define, and categorize the project within Specpoint and within your A/E firm.
Project parameters serve as the foundation in future releases which will automate the creation/management of projects in lieu of relying on things that lead to errors/omissions such as editor's notes.
Specpoint encourages you to include accurate, up-to-date project information in order for it to contribute to the data provided to the AECO community as well as set your project up for future recommendations powered by AI. The value of good data cannot be underestimated.
Specpoint displays the parameters that you specify for your project in various areas in the platform. This enables members of your A/E firm to learn more about the project and understand its context. Users outside your A/E firm can also view these parameters and other project information except for details that can identify a specific project. In addition, you can typically use these parameters to filter, search, group, and sort projects on the Projects Home page.
