Project Notes

You can add a project note to a project or a specific project element for various purposes such as keeping project-related information updated or providing additional context to a decision.

When you create a project note, you must associate it to the active project or the selected active project element, specify its name, and provide a more detailed description. You can also add a project note from an article or paragraph.

Each project note has a comment thread. Members of the project team can add comments to the project note to respond to discussions, give feedback, and raise questions. These comments enable you to further collaborate with other project team members while focusing on a specific aspect of a project or project element.

Each project note passes through the following work statuses:
  • New
  • In Progress
  • Complete

You can manage a note's current work status in the Notes window. This enables you to track the project team's progress in addressing the specific task or concern to which the project note refers.
