Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Preview and Export

Use this part of the documentation as a reference for previewing content in the project workspace as well as creating a project manual output. Specpoint provides features for previewing and exporting project contents.

After you set the contents of your project, you can perform the following preview and export tasks:
  • Preview section contents: Preview how the articles and paragraphs that you specified within a given family, section, or product type display in the project output. This preview also includes related contents from associated families and product types as applicable.

    For more information, see Included Contents in the Section Preview and Exported Files.

  • Export project: Export a project section or a project manual to a format that you can view and share outside Specpoint.

Permissions

To preview and export project content, you must be the project's creator or a member of the project team. In addition, the following permissions apply:
