Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Preview Version Contents of a Family

As a member of the office master access group, preview the contents of a family's MasterSpec version or any of its published office master versions to learn more about the family's articles, paragraphs, and properties.

To preview version contents of a family from the element library:

  1. Open the element library.
  2. In the element library, select an assembly or division to view its families.
  3. From the assembly's/division's families, select a family.
  4. In the Family Details pane, click .
  5. In the Preview Office Master dialog box, select a version of the family from the Office Master dropdown.
  6. Click Confirm.
