Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Preview Element Contents

Preview the contents of a family, section, or product type element in a traditional section view to view how your specified articles and paragraphs display when you export a project.

To preview the contents of a family, section, or product type:

  1. Open a project in the project workspace.
  2. In the Project Elements pane of the project workspace, select an added family, section, or product type.
    An added eligible element displays in green.
  3. On the workspace toolbar, click .
  4. In the Section Preview window, view the contents of the family, section, or product type.
