Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Guide Tab for Office Master Import

Use this tab as guidance in processing your uploaded family prior to office master import. This ensures that your imported content aligns with Specpoint's requirements.

On the Import page for office masters, this Guide tab is available only for uploaded office master families that you have not yet imported. Use this tab to learn about your uploaded family in terms of its compatibility with Specpoint's prescribed formatting and content structure. Each aspect of formatting has an equivalent step, which pertains to a preparation or adjustment that you should make to your family. This feature guides you in the following steps of the import processing workflow:
  1. Resolve needs attention items.
  2. Resolve caution items.
  3. Set associations with assemblies.
  4. Apply MasterSpec styles to your family.
  5. Verify the family's converted product types.
  6. Verify the manufacturers in the family's product types.

This tab also displays a summary of the steps that you completed. For each step, Specpoint assigns a score that adds to the net Import Score of your uploaded family. Refer to this score to quickly gain insight on your uploaded family contents' compatibility and correctness.
