Copy a Style Guide

As an administrator or author, copy a style to create a new style guide based on the existing guide. This enables you to create variations of a given style guide while preserving the original settings.

To copy a style guide:

  1. For a given project, open the Format page for style guides.
  2. On the Format page, on the Style Guides tab, select a style guide to copy.
  3. In the style preview pane, click Copy Style Guide.
  4. In the Create Style Guide dialog box, in the Name Style Guide field, enter the name of the new style guide.
  5. Click Save.
    The Style Guides tab includes the new guide.

You can now modify the document and formatting settings of the style guide.
