The Deltek EPM Security Administrator (SA) user interface contains a toolbar and two interrelated panes, which display once you log on to the application.
The application toolbar displays the following buttons:

Hide Navigation/Show Navigation |
Click this button to hide or show the Navigation pane. When the Navigation menu displays, the name of this button is Hide Navigation. When the Navigation menu is hidden, the name of this button becomes Show Navigation. By default, the button name is Hide Navigation |
Back |
Click this button to return to the form shown prior to opening the current one. This button remains disabled if there are no available forms to which you can move back. |
Forward |
Click this button to go to the next form. You usually use this button when you used Back and then you want to move forward to the form that you were viewing prior to using Back. This option remains disabled if there is no available form to which you can proceed. |

Click this button to display the EPM SA Help menu options. |

Either of the following symbols displays at the left edge of some of the items in the Navigation menu or each panel in the Dashboard pane, indicating whether or not you can expand an item:

The EPM SA displays the following panes when you open the application:

This pane on the left displays four panels, each of which has items presented in a hierarchical format. Selecting an item displays the corresponding form on the right pane of the interface, replacing the default Dashboard pane.

Dashboard |
This pane displays to the right of the Navigation menu by default. It displays several panels that contain quick navigation links to some of the tasks that you can perform in EPM SA. This pane also gives you an option to jump to a particular task or select an application from the Navigation menu on the left. When you click an application, the corresponding form or dialog box displays to the right, replacing the Dashboard pane. For example, if you click Security ยป Users on the Navigation menu, the Users form displays on the right pane. The Dashboard pane displays the following panels by default:
