Use the Deltek EPM Security Administrator Login dialog box to enter your login credentials to the EPM Security Administrator (EPM SA). Only the SYSADMIN user ID or users assigned to SYSADMIN group can log on to EPM SA.
Enter your own user ID unless you are the SYSADMIN. You can use a maximum of 20 alphanumeric and special characters, including spaces. Your default user ID is SYSADMIN. The first time you log on to EPM SA, you must use the default user ID. All subsequent logins default to the ID that the previous user entered to log on to the application successfully.
The default password for SYSADMIN is password. The first time you log on to EPM SA, you must use the default password.
You must change the password as soon as possible to prevent unauthorized access to the Security Administrator. You can change your password on the Authentication tab on the Users form. Your password is not case-sensitive. Each character that you enter is replaced with an asterisk (*).
Select a database from the drop-down list, which displays all databases configured in the Weblink utility. This field lists all available databases alphabetically.
If you select an offline database and click Login, an error message displays. Clicking OK closes the message dialog box and returns you to the Database field.
If you want to change your current database, select another database from the drop-down list. The Windows Authentication option is selected and the User ID and Password fields are disabled.
This application saves the last selected database per user. For example, if you log on to one machine and another user of the SYSADMIN group logs on to a different database on another machine, both of you have a different "last selected database" the next time you log on.
Select this option to enable Windows Authentication for an application. Selecting this option bypasses the EPM SA login, thus disabling the User ID and Password fields.
This option is visible but disabled on the login dialog box if the Database Authentication option is selected on the Authentication tab of the Users form and the status of Windows Authentication is Enabled or the Anonymous Authentication is Disabled in IIS.
This option does not display on the login dialog box if the status of Windows Authentication is Disabled or the Anonymous Authentication is Enabled in IIS.
Click this button to log on to EPM SA.
The application then searches the security tables on the active data source for the user ID and password that you enter. When a match is found, EPM SA launches. Otherwise, an error message displays.
