Groups Overview

Groups are composed of individual users who are assigned to data objects, such as projects, within the applications. Groups usually represent major programs or projects within an organization or functional groups, such as the project management office.

Installing EPM Security Administrator (SA) for the first time creates the following groups automatically:

• SYSADMIN

• GUEST

The Group form allows you to define a profile for a group. It also allows you to perform the following tasks:

• Copy a group

• Assign a user to a group

• Remove a user from a group

Groups Form Tabs

It displays the following tabs:

• General

• Open Plan

It displays a tab for each installed Deltek application using the active data source.
