Copy a Group

This procedure allows you to create group as a copy of an existing one.

To copy a group from an existing record:

  1. From the Navigation menu, click Security » Groups. The Groups form displays on the right pane. The General tab displays by default.

  2. Verify if the displayed record pertains to the group that you want to update. If it is not, in the Search field, enter the group ID. Alternatively, you can click beside the field to display the Group Search dialog box.

  3. On the form toolbar, click New » Copy Current Record. You can also select the Select Record to Copy option. If you select the latter option, you can skip step 2.

  4. Enter or modify the necessary information in this form.

  5. On the form toolbar, click Save.
