Attendance Levels

The Attendance Levels tab on the Attendance Policy form defines the ruleset that will be used by the DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task of the ATTENDANCE service to determine a person’s point level and which supervisors will be notified of the point and level changes.

Make sure Points Enabled is checked for this Attendance Policy if you are using Attendance Levels.

The Attendance Points and Generation of Supporting Events modules must also be licensed and enabled if you are using Attendance Levels. See Licensing for more information.

Attendance Levels Field Descriptions

Ruleset Name

Identifies the ruleset that is triggered when the DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task of the ATTENDANCE service runs.

See Attendance Rules Operands for information on the operands that can be used to create this kind of ruleset.

Run for

Determines how the DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task will process the specified Ruleset Name.

Each Post Date: The DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task will process the specified Ruleset Name once per person per day since the last time the task ran for each person. For example, if the DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task ran a week ago for Person A and it ran yesterday for Person B, the task will process 7 times for Person A but only once for Person B.

Run Date: The DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task will process the specified Ruleset Name once per person based on the day the task runs, regardless of the last time it ran for each person.

 

View a Policy’s Attendance Levels Setting

  1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Policies > Attendance Policy.

  2. In the Policy Name field, select the record you want to view and click Find.

  3. Click the Attendance Levels tab to view the current configuration.

 

Configure a Policy’s Attendance Levels Setting

  1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Policies > Attendance Policy.

  2. If you already have an Attendance Policy for which you want to modify the Attendance Levels, select the Attendance Policy, and then click Modify. If you do not have an Attendance Policy, see Add an Attendance Policy.

  3. Click the Attendance Levels tab.

  4. Select the Ruleset Name that will trigger when the DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task of the ATTENDANCE service runs.

  5. Select the Run For option that determines how the DISCIPLINARY_LEVELS task will process the specified Ruleset Name. Refer to the Attendance Levels Field Descriptions for more information.

  6. Click Save.

 

Modify a Policy’s Attendance Levels Setting

  1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Policies > Attendance Policy.

  2. In the Policy Name field, select the policy with the Attendance Levels setting you want to change and click Modify.

  3. Navigate to the Attendance Levels tab.

  4. Make the necessary modifications and click Save.
