Process Status

The Process Status tab on the Action form indicates whether a transaction has been processed by a service instance or for export.

You can re-submit a transaction by clicking the Re-Process button. When you re-process a transaction, the service instance or export will process the record the next time it runs.

If a record's Process Status is Ready, you can click the Cancel button to change its status to Cancelled Before Processing.

Process Status Field Descriptions

Process Name

Identifies the process (service instance or export process) that processed the transaction selected on the Action form.

Process Status

Indicates whether the transaction has been processed or cancelled. The letter in parenthesis (R, C, X, or Z) is the Process Status that will appear on the Transaction Process Status tab of the Transaction Details form.

Ready (R) - The transaction is ready to be processed by the specified Process Name.

Complete (C) - The transaction has been processed by the specified Process Name.

Cancelled After Processing (Z) - The transaction was cancelled after it was processed by the specified Process Name. If the transaction was processed by an export process, a separate Z record is created. If the transaction was processed by a service instance, the C record is changed to a Z record.

Cancelled Before Processing (X) - The transaction was cancelled before it was processed by the specified Process Name.

Cancelled And Any Further Processing Complete (D) - The transaction has been processed by the specified Process Name and will not be processed again via a Re-Process.

Processing Date

Indicates when the transaction was processed by the specified Process Name.

Date Created

Identifies when the process was first created.

Created By

Identifies the service that generated the process.

Update Date, Updated By

These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.

 

Re-Process a Transaction

Use the Re-Process button to change a record's Process Status to "Ready."

  1. Click Main Menu > Administration > Data Collection > Action.

  2. Select the transaction you want to submit for reprocessing.

  3. On the Process Status tab, select the record with the Process Name and Process Status that you want to submit for reprocessing.

  4. Click Re-Process.

    The record's Process Status will change to Ready.

Cancel a Transaction

Use the Cancel button to change a record's Process Status from Ready to Cancelled Before Processing.

  1. Click Main Menu > Administration > Data Collection > Action.

  2. Select the transaction you want to submit for reprocessing.

  3. On the Process Status tab, select the record with the Ready status that you want to cancel.

  4. Click Cancel.

    The record's Process Status will change to Cancelled Before Processing.
