A Module provides access to Service Instances and/or forms in the application, InTeract Client, Mobile Client, and Web Time Clock. In order to use the forms and services associated with a Module, the Module must be Enabled and Licensed on the Licensing form. The available Modules are described below.
The Action module supplies the Action forms in the Data Collection menu. The forms are used to view terminal transactions.

This module provides the form for creating Ad Hoc Reports.
Ad Hoc Reports are custom reports with person, action, or transaction data. You can select which columns to include in the report, add filters, group the data, and summarize the data. If you want to take the Shop Floor Time data and write your own report using a program such as Crystal Reports, you can use the REST API to access the Ad Hoc Report.
The Ad-Hoc Report Definition form is used to create and preview the Ad Hoc Report. You can use your Security Roles to configure which employees have access to this form.
To run and print the report, you can use the Ad-Hoc Reports form, which is enabled by the Adhoc Reports Viewer module or the Adhoc Reports Viewer and Definition module.

The Attendance Management module supplies the Attendance Policy form in which you configure rules that determine which non-labor events can post to employee timecards via the ATTENDANCE service. The rules include posting holiday and penalty events, and removing penalties. This module also supplies the Excused Absences and Event Setting tabs in the Event Policy form.

The Attendance Time Off Request module supplies the ATTENDANCE_TIME_OFF process.
This process queries a person’s balances and those connected to the event (event_balance_code table). It determines how much, if any, can be drawn from each balance. It then splits the transaction into multiple transactions, each one drawing off of a single balance, or no balance.

The Delegation and Act As Form module allows is used to grant a supervisor/manager temporary authority over another supervisor's employees. The supervisor that receives the temporary authority can then use the application with the same privileges as the original supervisor. When authority is delegated, the original supervisor still has authority over his employees.

The “Discipline Balance Policy forms” module provides the forms and service needed for the Discipline Balance feature.
The Discipline Balance feature is used to manage a person’s attendance infractions when a number of these infractions occur in a specific time period. For example, a person can earn a point for having two Unexcused Absences in 30 days. Disciplinary levels and tickets can also be issued based on these points. The points for different types of infractions (e.g., Unexcused Absence vs. Late Arrival) will accumulate separately.

This module enables the Mobile Client and the Mobile Web Application. Employees and supervisors can use these applications to sign and unsign the timecards, add elapsed and punch transactions, modify and delete transactions, and view transaction details from mobile devices.
The Mobile Client can be run as a native app on mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and Android. Your location will be recorded (provided GPS is enabled on your mobile device) when you add, modify, or delete an event, or sign the timecard. The Mobile Client can also restrict signing and event posting based on a location’s accuracy level.
The Mobile Web Application can be run on a mobile device’s browser. You can run this application on mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry Z and Q series devices.
The Mobile Client and Mobile Web Application include the following forms:
Time Card Review – Allows supervisors to review and approve their employees’ timecards.
My Time Card - Self-service timecard that employees can use to add, modify, and delete punch and elapsed transactions.

The Shift Related Forms module supplies the Shift forms, such as the Shift Policy.
A shift policy determines if an employee’s shift premium is decided by the shift defined in the employee's Shift Policy or schedule. If the employee has no Shift Policy, the shift listed in the employee's Person Assignment applies.

The Terminal Monitor module supplies the Terminal Monitoring feature. It monitors and provides information about any terminals you have configured in the application, including notifications of terminal status changes (i.e., online to offline or vice versa).

TERMINAL_MONITOR
The Terminal Operating State module supplies the forms and service instance that allow terminals to operate in COMPLETE_OFFLINE mode while still connected to the application server. For details see Permanent Offline Data Collection with Scheduled Data Pull.
A terminal in COMPLETE_OFFLINE mode will collect transactions and store them locally, regardless of whether it can communicate with the application server. The terminal will not send these transactions to the application server until its Operating State is changed (via the Operating State form or the COMPLETE_OFFLINE_STATE_CONTROLLER service).

The Time Card module supplies the various forms the user needs to enter time record data on the timecard.

Allows the system to use the Time Classification service. It is used to bring employee timecards into compliance with their Pay Policy rules. It posts the appropriate hours classifications on the timecard.

TIME_CLASSIFICATION
The Time Completion module supplies the TIME_COMPLETION service. The TIME_COMPLETION service runs for employees who have Time Completion enabled in their Attendance Policy. The service will post a Day Worked event with the number of hours needed to complete the timecard.

TIME_COMPLETION
The Time Record View module allows a time reporter to view time record data on a terminal by swiping a badge and pressing the Time Record View button on the terminal.

The Total Time Accounting module enables and disables the TOTAL_TIME_ACCOUNTING service for the Total Time Accounting feature.

TOTAL_TIME_ACCOUNTING
The Web Time Clock module supplies the Web Time Clock terminal. The terminal is accessed via the Web and has similar functionality to the InTeract Client. However, the Web Time Clock does not support Offline Data Processing or Offline Person Validation.
