Activate and Set Up Bank Feed for OAuth Banks

When you set up a bank feed between Vantagepoint and a bank that uses OAuth as an access delegation protocol, you need to enter your credentials on the bank's log in page. You may also be asked to enter additional information such as your mobile number or a bank-provided code.

Prerequisites:

You must have:

  • Set up at least one bank account for the online account associated with a bank code.
  • The bank uses OAuth as an access delegation protocol.

To activate and set up the bank feed for OAuth banks:

  1. In the Navigation pane in Vantagepoint, select Settings > Cash Management > Banks.
  2. On the Banks form, search for or select the bank code, and then click the Connections tab.
  3. Click the Connect button.
    The Plaid setup assistant appears.
  4. Click the Plaid End User Privacy Policy hyperlink to review the data that will be stored in Plaid servers and Plaid's terms of service, and then click Continue.
  5. Search for and select the OAuth bank associated with the online account.
    The setup wizard describes the next steps, which are unique for banks that uses OAuth.
  6. Click Continue
    Your bank's log in page displays.
  7. Enter your credentials.
    Depending on the security protocols of your bank, you may need to provide additional info such as your mobile number or a code.
    Bank accounts (savings, checking, money market, and so on) associated with the online account display. The last four digits of the accounts also display.
  8. Select one or more bank accounts that you want to connect with Plaid and then, if needed, click Continue.
  9. Follow the instructions on the bank's page to connect the selected accounts with Plaid.
    You are directed back to the Plaid setup assistant.
  10. Select the same bank accounts that you earlier selected on the bank's log in page to connect those accounts with Vantagepoint.
