Project View
Project View in Resource Management is designed to give the project manager a complete view of staffing and schedules for their projects at any level of the plan work breakdown structure, including at the labor code level if labor codes are being used. They can also see actual job-to-date hours related to resource assignments as employees charge time to a project. In Project View, project managers can add resource assignments, set plan dates, and make reassignments and schedule changes as needed.
To provide a project manager with a comprehensive view of each project, Project View provides access to plan data for the entire period from plan start date to plan end date, even after work on the project is underway.
In some cases, however, project managers need to see a resource's assignments for other projects. Resource View, the other primary view in Resource Management, provides that resource-focused view.
