Table Settings Window

Use this window to customize the available product information on the Product Listings page in table view. You can select the available columns and column groupings to display for the product listings.

Table settings determine the available data as you compare and contrast product listings and identify meaningful data points within product information. This window lists all the available columns for product information and parameters, which you organize into the following:
  • Available or excluded columns
  • Group columns
  • Selected or visible columns

Grouping

On the Product Listings page in table view, you can group product listings by creating a column grouping. A column grouping consists of the following elements:
  • A column name, which represents the product attribute such as company, listing type, or family, by which to group the listings
  • An expanded or collapsed setting which determines whether to display or hide a group's child groups (if any) and product listings
  • A position in the order or hierarchy of groupings
You can configure up to three column groupings. For multiple column groupings, Specpoint employs hierarchical grouping based on how you configure your column groupings. This means that your first grouping can hold multiple second groupings and your second groupings can hold multiple third groupings. For example, if your first grouping is Family and your second grouping is Listing Type, then you might see the following groupings on this page:
  • 013100 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION
    • Premium
    • Manufacturer
  • 013513.16 - SPECIAL PROJECT PROCEDURES FOR DETENTION
    • Premium
    • Premium Proprietary
    • Manufacturer

By default, the table view of the Product Listings page groups the product listings by Family Name and Product type.
