  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Product Listings Page

Use this page to view and search for product listings in Specpoint. This page enables you to track product listings that your BPM offers and find similar product listings from other BPMs.

On this page, you can view product listings in the following views:
  • Card View: Product listings display as individual product listings cards, providing you a more visual experience in browsing product listings.
  • Table View: Product listings display as individual rows in a table. This enables you to view more product listing data and allows you to compare and contrast product listings based on their available data.

Both views include controls for filtering, grouping, and sorting the product listings, which enable you to search for product listings and customize your view. You can use any combination of filtering, grouping, and sorting configurations to show or hide the available listings according to your needs.

This page is also available to public users. These users can use this page to browse the available BPMs and product listings for projects that they are working on, which include projects outside Specpoint. MasterSpec sections available outside Specpoint, such as in other platforms and applications of Deltek Specification Solutions, link to this page to provide design professionals with access to the available product listing and BPM information within Specpoint. For public view, only active product listings of listing type Premium MasterSpec, Premium, and Premium Proprietary are available.

Product Filters

Multiple filters are available on this page. Filter product listings based on attributes and general info such as listing type, product category, and companies to filter product listings from multiple BPMs. You can also search for a specific product listing. Product filters are dynamic. When you select a value for a filter, other filters will show only the available options with respect to your current selection. For example, if you set Category to Ceilings, you can only select companies that have product listings under the Ceiling category in the Company field.

After you set your filter values, you can bookmark the page in your browser to save the filter configuration. You can also copy and paste the URL in your browser to share the set combination of filters to another user or browser. In addition, this page preserves the filters that you set when you view product information on the Manage Listing page and return to this page.
