Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Families

This parameter represents shared product type information within a MasterFormat section. Under Specpoint's assembly-driven structure, families organize product types and their respective selected product listings.

Families in A/E Firm Projects

In Specpoint projects, design professionals from A/E firms add a family under an assembly element. This enables these users to maintain the administrative information and shared product type information, such performance requirements and installation articles.
