Assign Users Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to view users who are assigned to a PPM product. It displays two lists,
Available Users and Assigned Users. Each list features the same columns.
- The Available Users list contains all users who are not currently assigned to the product. To assign a user to the product, select the user from the list and click the Add button.
- The Assigned Users list contains all users who are currently assigned to the product. To remove a user from the product, select the user from the list and click the Remove button.
Note: When assigning a user to a product license for the first time, a temporary password will be sent to their registered email address as one-time access credential. If the user does not log in using their credentials, and later another user unassigns and then reassigns that user to the license, the user will receive the email again. Since the user has not logged in to the product yet, the system will consider them a new user.

| FIRST NAME | This field displays the user’s first name. |
| LAST NAME | This field displays the user’s last name. |
| USER ID | This field displays the user’s unique ID. |
| MANAGER | This field displays the user’s manager. |
| DEPARTMENT | This field displays the department to which the user belongs. |
| PRIMARY ROLE | This field displays the user’s primary role. |
| DOMAIN | This field displays the user’s Windows domain. |
| SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR |
Select this checkbox to provide the selected user with access equivalent to that of the SYSADMIN user. Note: This checkbox is restricted to the PPM Administrator product and is only enabled when a system administrator is logged into PPM Administrator.
Selecting this checkbox makes the Security tab on the Groups form accessible for those users. In addition, selecting this checkbox also selects the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR checkbox on the Products tab of the Users form. Note: System Administrator users can clear this checkbox, but they do not have the capability to remove or unassign themselves from the PPM Administrator license.
