Exporting Data to an Excel (XLSX) File
In various places throughout PPM Administrator, you can export all of the information for a single record in the detail view of a selected form to an XLSX file.
You can find and select a record using the Find field at the top of the form. For more information, see Use the Find Field.
The file name format of the exported XLSX file can be any of the following:
- User_Export.xlsx - Exporting a user record from the GENERAL, ADDRESS, GROUP, LOCKS, PRODUCTS, or AUTHENTICATION tab on the Users form.
- Group_Export.xlsx- Exporting a group record from the GENERAL, USERS, OPEN PLAN, or SECURITY tab on the Groups form.
- Role_Export.xlsx - Exporting a role record from the GENERAL, PERMISSIONS, or ASSIGNMENTS tab on the Roles form.
If the same file exists in the destination folder, PPM Administrator adds an incremental number next to the file name, for example, Role_Export (1).xlsx.
You can access the XLSX file from your local machine's Download folder or the configured browser download file path and open it in Excel.

You can only export one record at time from the detail view to XLSX (Microsoft Excel Open XML Spreadsheet). Each tab in the XLSX file includes all of the data from the various tabs on the detail view.
