Managing User Access Rights
You assign system roles to menus, dashparts, entity record field sets, and project events, to grant users with access.

You assign a role to a zone, menu, or feature to grant access to all users associated with the role. - Manage Access to Dashparts
A dashpart is a widget that can be added to a user's Personal Zone. You assign a role to a dashpart to grant access to all users associated with the role. - Manage Access to Record Functions and Features
Use the Entity Function Configuration page to grant users with access to functions for selected record types, such as projects, contacts, and organizations. You can also grant access to a number of features, such as the Smart View mode in the Information Zone, and mobile live browsing in the Mobile Working app. - Manage Access to Record Field Sets
Each record type has a number of field sets. These are also referred to as bands. You can grant access to record field sets for selected user roles. - Manage Access to Project Events
Project events are key events, or milestones, that must be completed as part of a programme, such as creating a health and safety plan, issuing a main programme, and processing certain appraisals and contractual documentation. You can grant access to selected roles to allow users to undertake specific project events.
