Use this screen to display billing transactions that have already been billed. You can use these transactions to compute retroactive billings. You must set up a project number in the Project Billing Information screen (Projects\Maintain\Billing) as the posting project number before you can enter it and its lower levels transactions into this screen. Normally no data entry is needed in this screen.
This screen consists of one block and five tabs. They can be used as follows:
The Identification block displays the invoice project and invoice project name.
The Billing Detail tab displays transaction information,including project, transaction type, journal, accounting period, cost information, hours information, unit information, and currency information.
The Labor tab displays labor information,including ID type, employee name and ID, vendor name and ID, vendor employee name and ID, GLC, PLC, billing rate, rate type, timesheet date, and effective bill date.
The Units tab displays unit information, including CLIN, catalog, item, revision, description, unit price, usage date, and billing currency.
The Sales Tax tab displays sales tax information, including sales tax code, sales tax amount, billing currency, and billing currency sales tax amount.
The Other tab displays information regarding the posting, including posting journal, voucher and invoice numbers, journal entry number, cash receipts number, posting sequence, and reference numbers.
The system updates this screen when you post the billing journal to the general ledger. If you have already computed and posted bills outside of the system, you will need to update the Billing History and optionally the Posted Billing Detail. If you allow for partially billed transactions, a transaction can be in the posted billing detail and in the open billing detail at the same time.
Use the fields in this block to review or enter the invoice project ID and name.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the project number to which the billing was posted. The project number entered here must be set up in the Project Billing Information screen (Projects\Maintain\Billing) at this level or higher.
The non-editable field to the right displays the project description.

Changes to this screen update the BILLING_DETL_HIST (Billing Detail History) table.
