Teams

Teams form important organization groups in ConceptShare. Create Teams for shared work, organizational structure, or shared communications.

Teams are groups of users who share the same Project role. Create Teams based on organizational function (for example, Legal Team or Compliance Team) or job function (for example, Video Producers or Photo Retouchers). The following icon represents a Team in ConceptShare:

Depending on your permissions, you can add or remove users from Teams. Team members can be part of more than one Team. You can add Teams to Projects and Reviews.

Scenarios

One of the most common uses of Teams is when you need someone from an organizational department involved in a Project. For example, you need someone from the Legal department to be involved in a Project, but you do not require a specific person. In this case, add a Legal Team to your Project. Anybody from the Legal Team can take ownership of the work item assigned. For instructions, see Team and Team.

Claiming Work on Behalf of a Team

All members of your Team receive a notification when work is assigned. This grants everyone access to the item via the link in the notification email. If a member of your Team has already claimed the Review on behalf of the Team, you may get an error message when you click the link. Aside from the notification email, you can also access any item assigned to your Team through the Work screen.

For Reviews, each member can add feedback while the Review is assigned to your Team. However, none of the members can submit responses until one of them claims the Review.
