Touchstone Licenses and Access Control
Touchstone uses the grids on the Access Control tabs to control what users can do and the information to which they have access.
Program Access Control List
When a user is granted access to a program, they can see the selected program but they cannot automatically see any of the associated projects. If you want them to have access to one or more of the associated projects, you must add them to the Project Access Control List grid.
Project Access Control List
If you want a user to be able to submit schedules and view or edit project details, you must add them to the selected projects Access Control List. When you add a user to the Projects Access Control List, they can see the selected project but they cannot see the associated program unless they are also on the associated program's Access Control List. You may add users with named licenses to this grid. You cannot add users with Submitter licenses to this grid.
Project Submitter List
If you want to limit users to only have access to submit schedules, you should add them to the Submitter List only. When they are in the Submittals view, they see the project rows for which they need to upload schedules. They cannot edit project or program information. You may add users who have a Submitter license or a Touchstone license to this grid
Read Only Access
If a user or group has Read Only access (set on the Access Control tab) for a project, they cannot upload a schedule for that project.
