Add a User to the Program Access Control List

Use these steps to give users with a named licenses access to a program.

Note: You cannot add users with Submitter licenses to the Access Control List grid.

When a user is granted access to a program, they can see the selected program but they cannot automatically see any of the associated projects. If you want them to have access to one or more of the associated projects, you must add them to the Project Access Control List grid (Hubs > Projects > <display project in Detail View> > Access Control tab.

To give a user with a named license access to a program:

  1. In the Navigation pane, in Hubs, click Programs.
  2. If you are in the List view, click Switch to Detail View in the top right corner of the view.
  3. Use the Program Search feature at the top of the view to search for and select the program to which you want to add the user.
  4. On the Access Control tab, under the Access Control List grid, click Add Row.
  5. In the drop-down list, select the name of a user.
    The list includes all users with a named license.
  6. Click out of the field to save the change.
    The user will be able to see and edit the selected program. If you do not want the user to be able to edit the data, make sure you select Read Only.
