Select File to Delete Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to delete files.
You can select any of the following files:
- Project
- Calendar
- Resource
- Code
- View
- Project Template
Depending on the type of file, Open Plan performs one of the following actions when you delete a file:
- If the file is a project, Open Plan deletes all the project data from the data source. The ancillary file links that were created in the Project folder are removed, but the ancillary file data itself is retained. Any links to the project in your My Folder are also removed.
- If the file is a calendar file, resource file, code file, or view template, Open Plans deletes the actual data from the data source.
Note: A file cannot be deleted if another file refers to it. For example, you cannot delete a resource file if a project still uses it.
