Log Viewer

You can use the Open Plan Log Viewer to review the log files that have been created during the current session of Open Plan as well as to view previously saved log files.

Open Plan creates a log file each time you run a procedure such as Time Analysis or Resource Scheduling. These log files provide information about the functions that have been performed.

The Log Viewer displays in a docked window at the bottom of the Open Plan screen. You can open and close the window by clicking Open Log in the Log Viewer menu group on the Processes tab, Integration tab, or Tools tab.

While you cannot edit the information in any of the log files using the Open Plan Log Viewer, you can copy text from a log and paste it into another Windows application. You can also search for multiple text occurrences. To do so, select the text that you want to find and use SHIFT+F4 to find the next occurrence of the selected text.

If you have the Open Plan Log Viewer running when you run an Open Plan procedure that creates a log, the log viewer will automatically refresh its display.
