Assign a Code File Using Project Properties

You can use the Project Properties dialog box to assign a code file to a project.

To assign a code file to a project using the Project Properties dialog box:

  1. Open the project to which you want to assign a code file in Exclusive mode.
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • Right-click the project folder, and click Properties on the shortcut menu.
    • In the Dialogs menu group of the Processes tab, click Properties.
  3. On the Files tab of the Project Properties dialog box, click the ellipsis button at the right edge of the Code Files text box.
  4. From the Code Files column, select the code file that you want to assign to the project.
  5. From the Code field to assign code file to column, select the code field to which you want to assign the code file.
  6. Click Assign.
  7. In the Code File Prompt dialog box, enter a label for the code file, and click OK.
    If adding a particular code file would replace one currently assigned to the specified code field, Open Plan asks you to confirm your action.
  8. In the Assign Code dialog box, click OK.
