Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Use External Subprojects

Use this procedure to use external subprojects in a hierarchy.

To use external subprojects in a hierarchy:

  1. Create the project that will become the master project.
  2. Save the master project.
  3. If they do not already exist, create and save the projects that will become the external subprojects.
  4. In the master project, double-click an activity that will be used to represent an external subproject.
  5. On the Activity Details General tab, change the activity type to External Subproject.
  6. Click the ellipsis to the right of the External Subproject edit box.
  7. In the Subproject Selection dialog box, select the file to be the external subproject.
  8. Click OK to close the dialog box.
  9. When the Activity Details dialog box redisplays, click Apply.
