Enable Automatic Time Analysis

Use this procedure to enable automatic Time Analysis.

To enable automatic time analysis:

  1. Open the project.
  2. On the Processes tab, click Perform Time Analysis > Options.
  3. On the Options tab of the Time Analysis dialog box, select Analyze Each Time Data Changes.
Note: You can also set automatic time analysis by clicking on the Processes tab.

If automatic time analysis is enabled, Open Plan performs time analysis whenever you change the logic of the project by cutting, pasting, adding, or deleting an activity or relationship. It also performs time analysis whenever you change Time Now or make any time-related change to an activity.

To automatically calculate dates for new activities, select the Calculate dates even if TA is turned off? option on the Options dialog box Project tab.
