Delete a Code

If you delete a parent code, Open Plan warns you that all child codes will be deleted along with the parent. If you delete a code that has been assigned to an activity in a project, that assignment is deleted as well.

To delete a code:

  1. In Open Plan Explorer, display a code file in Code View.
  2. Select the code that you want to delete.
  3. Take one of the following actions:
    • On your keyboard, press the Delete key.
    • Right-click the code, and click Delete on the shortcut menu.
    • On the Edit tab, click Delete Code .
  4. When Open Plan asks if you want to delete the selected code and its children, click OK.
