Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Find a Code

Use the Find Node dialog box to find a code.

To find a code:

  1. In Open Plan Explorer, display a code file in Code View.
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • In the Data menu group of the Edit tab, click Find And Replace .
    • Right-click an empty area of the workspace, and click Find on the shortcut menu.
  3. In the Find Node dialog box, enter the ID of the code you want to find.
  4. Click OK.
