Define Crosstable Bars

Use this procedure to define crosstable bars for a multi-table barchart.

To define crosstable bars for a multi-table barchart:

1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in barchart view.
2. In the Barchart menu group of  the View tab, click Bar Sets.
3. From the list at the top of the Bar Sets dialog box, select Multi-table Bar Sets.
4. Select the bar set that will contain the crosstable bar you want to create, and click Edit.
5. In the Bar Set Preferences dialog box, click the Crosstable tab.
6. Select whether to show Resource or Earned Value bars.
7. Select a new row in the dialog box.
8. While in the Criterion column, use the ellipsis above the table to select the filter that will be used to determine the circumstances under which Open Plan should display this bar.
9. Define the appearance of the bar by selecting the appropriate elements in the Crosstable Type, Outline, Fill, and Visibility columns using the drop-down list above the table.
10. In the Label column, enter a name for the bar, and click OK.
