Use this procedure to create a new user defined field.
To create a new user defined field:

On the Tools tab, click
User Fields.

In the User Defined Fields dialog box, select the table for which you want to create a user defined field.

Click
New.

In the
Name field of the New User Defined Field dialog box, enter a name for the new user defined field.

From the
Data Type list, select a data type.

In the
Description field, enter a description for the new user defined field.
This step is optional.
If you are creating a user defined field for the Activity table, you also have the option to create the field for a baseline.

If you want Open Plan to create the new user defined field for the baseline, select the
Also Create Field for Baseline option.

Click
OK.
