Copy a Global Edit Definition
Use this procedure to create a global edit definition as a copy of another global edit.
To create a global edit definition as a copy of another global edit:
- Display a view of the project or resource file for which you want to copy a global edit definition.
- On the Tools tab, click Global Edits.
- In the Global Edits dialog box, select the global edit definition you want to copy.
- Click Copy.
- In the Global Edit Definition dialog box, enter a new name for the global edit definition that you are creating.
- Make any needed modifications to the global edit expression.

Do one of the following:
- To save and apply the new global edit and close the dialog box, click OK.
- To apply the new global edit without saving it, click Apply.
