Calculate Actual Resource Costs

Use this procedure to calculate resource costs based on resource progress information.

To calculate resource costs based on resource progress information:

1. On the General tab of the Resource Details dialog box, select the Actual Cost Based on Progressed Quantity option.
2. On the Resources tab of the Activity Progress dialog box, enter the actual quantity of the resource used and click OK.
3. On the Processes tab, click Cost Calculations.
4. In the Calculate Costs dialog box, select the Actual Cost option.
5. If you want Open Plan to use escalated resource costs, select the Use Resource Cost Escalation option and click OK.
6. Display the Activity Information dialog box to view the calculated resource costs for the activity.
