Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Resource Histogram Preferences Dialog Box

The resource histogram view displays resource and cost data against a time scale. It is useful for modeling project resources because you can compare resource assignments to availabilities.

You can also view the overall usage of a resource (or a group of resources) over the time span of the project.

Use the Histogram Preferences dialog box to set the resource histogram parameters of a project.

Tabs

The Histogram Preferences dialog box contains the following tabs:

  • Options: Use the Options tab to control how Open Plan displays resource assignment and usage.
  • Resources: Use the Resources tab to control the type of resource data Open Plan displays in the histogram view.
  • Earned Value: Use the Earned Value tab to control the type of earned value data Open Plan displays in the histogram view.

Resizing

A grabber pad in the bottom right corner of a dialog box indicates that the dialog box is resizable. Click and drag the sides of the dialog box to resize.
