Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Activity Information Dialog Box

Use the Activity Information dialog box to display a wide range of information for a single activity. The dialog box includes two tabs:

  • Schedule tab: Provides an overview of schedule information about the activity including general, float, and date information.
  • Cost tab: Provides budget and cost information about the activity.

You can display this dialog box in any barchart, network, or spreadsheet view. It is also resizable and you can resize it by dragging any corner or side of the dialog box.

The Activity Information dialog box is modeless. This means that you can leave this dialog box open when performing other operations. This allows you, for example, to open the Activity Information dialog box from a network view and then view the information for specific activities by clicking them in the view without having to close and re-open the dialog box each time.

The dialog box has the following buttons that apply to both tabs:

  • Close: Closes the dialog box, saving any changes.
  • Help: Provides access to the online Help topic for the displayed tab.

A set of navigation controls allows you to select another activity.

last.gif Displays the last record

You can also use the following keys on your keyboard to navigate to another activity.

  • Ctrl+Home: Displays the first activity.
  • Page Up: Displays the previous activity.
  • Page Down: Displays the next activity.
  • Ctrl+End: Displays the last activity.
