Personal Zone Overview

The Personal Zone provides you with quick access to records and features.

You can add and remove dashparts, and create additional desktops, to customize your Personal Zone.

Important: If you want to keep any changes that you make to your Personal Zone, you must click .

Managing Dashparts

Dashparts are informational widgets which provide quick access to various entity records. Some dashparts also provide access to features.

The following icons are available on the toolbar of each dashpart:

	Click this to collapse the dashpart
	Click this to expand the dashpart
	Click this to refresh the contents in the dashpart
	Click this to display the dashpart in a separate window
	Click this to view the help for the dashpart
	Click this to remove the dashpart from the current desktop

Managing Desktops

When you first use Deltek PIM, you have a single Home desktop in your Personal Zone. To help you to stay organized, you can create additional desktops, and add dashparts to them. For example, you might create a Documents desktop, and add the Working Files and Intray dashparts to it.
