Remove a Role from Unmanaged Documents

You remove a DMS security definition to revoke access to unmanaged documents for all users linked to the role.

To remove a role from unmanaged documents:

  1. On the header bar, click Admin.
  2. In the Search Admin Zones field at the top, enter Unmanaged Documents Security.
  3. Click the Unmanaged Documents Security link that displays.
  4. On the Unmanaged Documents Security page, click Delete for the security definition that you want to remove.
  5. Click Save.

Some users may still have access to unmanaged documents if they are linked to other roles that have access.
