Setting up reporting entities

You can set up reporting entities only if you selected to use departments when setting up general company preferences.

> Setup > Company > Financials > Departments

Ensure that your department names are detailed enough so you can easily identify them when setting up reporting entities.

Use only if you have a complex corporate structure.

> Setup > Company > Financials > Organizational Levels

Define the different levels in your corporate structure.

> Setup > Company > Financials > Reporting Entity

Create groups of related departments.

If using organizational levels, create reporting entities for the lowest level first and work upward, level by level.
