Reviewing departments for reporting entities

Review your departments to ensure that their names are detailed enough so you can easily identify them when setting up reporting entities.

For example, if you have architectural departments in two different cities, make sure that their names indicate the city.

To review departments for reporting entities

1. From the > Setup menu, click Company > Financials > Departments.
2. Review the departments and change as needed.
