Edit an Absence Request

You can modify an existing absence request, such as changing the absence category, start and end dates, or description.

Note: You can edit absence requests that have not been approved. Editing approved absence requests requires additional permissions. For information, see Editing Absence Requests - Permissions and Limitations.

To edit an absence request:

  1. Open the contact record.
    1. To edit your own absence request, click your name in the top-right corner.
    2. To edit another user's absence request, open their contact record.
  2. On the Contact record, click the Absence tab.
  3. In the Absence section, click for the absence request that you want to edit.
  4. Modify the absence details as required.
  5. Click Update.
    Your changes are saved. Depending on the status of the absence and your permissions, the updates may require approval.
