Block Journal Types

Use the Journal Types submodule to block journal types and make them inactive.

To use the Journal Types submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To block a journal type:

1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the journal type that you want to block.
3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Finance > Journal Types.
4. Click the Journal Types tab.
5. Highlight the journal type that you want to block and select the Blocked check box.
