Add a Contact to a Prospect or Client

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can add contacts to prospects and clients in the prospect card in CRM > Pipelines. Alternatively, you can add contacts to prospects and clients in the prospect card in Clients & Prospects List, My Activities, and All Activities in CRM, and in the resource information card in Resources.

Note: You must have permission to add prospects and clients to WorkBook, as well as modify prospect- and client-related information and activities, to complete this task.

To add a contact to a prospect or client from the Pipelines module:

  1. On the main toolbar, click CRM .
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Pipelines.
  3. In the grid, select the pipeline associated with the prospect or client to which you want to add a contact.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Show/Hide Prospect Card to display the prospect card, if it is not already displayed.
  5. On the side toolbar of the prospect card, click Contacts .
  6. On the top toolbar of the prospect card, click Add New Contact .
  7. Use the fields and options in the Add New Contact dialog box to add a new contact.
  8. Click OK.
    WorkBook displays the card for the newly-created contact.
  9. Use the contact card to allow the contact to create jobs for prospects and clients and to add contact information such as skills, interests, profiles, and custom codes. The card also provides information about the contact's project-related activities once these activities are defined for the contact.
